We are a small family run artisan smokehouse situated near the banks of the River Tay in the beautiful historic village of Dunkeld, Perthshire. The Smokehouse first began smoking 40 years ago to originally smoke anglers own fish and our master smoker Ronnie has been here 26 years perfecting the art of smoking for both wild and farmed fish. Each fish is individually cured by hand in small batches before being slowly smoked in kilns over whisky barrel chips and oak dust giving the salmon a unique flavour and texture. As a business we are totally committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing. Our traditional cold smoked and hot smoked salmon has been served to the Queen. We have also had several television appearances including Paul Hollywoods Pies and Puds, Landward with Nick Nairn and Visit Scotlands 'Brilliant Foodie Moments' advertising campaign.
